whiny spoiled little American moment (sorry)

I need to wash my dishes, but I hate carrying them all the way down the hall to the bathroom (let alone into the bathroom.)

Oh for the days when I will wish it was only a few minutes walk to clean running water....

Today I slept in. Then I participated in a service project. Then I walked a few miles into Bryn Mawr with Beth. After that we walked back and went to the football game. It was the first game of the season. And we were winning at half time. But we lost. Oh well. Father Peter came to the game (something Fr. Dobbin never did) and proved at halftime that at least one person connected to Villanova knows the first verse of the Alma Mater by heart.

I have a few questions, and I don't know who to ask. 1st: Does Father Peter live in the monastery? 2nd: Does he get a salary like a normal person or do his earnings go straight to the OSA?

I did no homework today (well, technically yesterday.)

I did try to call one of my relatives, but she refuses to communicate with me (jk )

finished the paper and turned it in... We'll see how that went on Monday.

Inaugural ball was last night. Definitely wonderful

Inauguration Ceremony is tomorrow... I'm hoping Papa Pete busts his moves again, but I'm doubting it, lol.

I found a volunteer opportunity for the day of service on Saturday! Now I don't feel like an uncontributing loser.

I took a nap this afternoon. Delightful!

I love Nova. I really do!

Eng: The Literary Experience

So my first essay for English is due on Wed. at 3pm. It only has to be 2 pages long and it's not research based. It ought to be easy. But it isn't. grrr. This is one of those papers that's stuck inside me somewhere and I have to painfully drag it out phrase by clunky phrase. Once I do wrest it out of my brain and onto my computer screen I will have to look at it from all angles and polish it, shape it, and generally fix it up. oh well. Hopefully there won't be too many of these this semester..... fat chance

Earlier today I went up to Felton and had a great talk with PC about college and dorm life etc. Believe it or not, I was asked quite a few questions and not just grudgingly given answers to my pestering

Now I'm going to take advantage of the free laundry facilities I have at my disposal for one night more...

ok. I'm at Nova. hanging out with my roommate and her friends. Today I got caught in a downpour and saw Mendel Doug. Yes, the legendary MENDEL DOUG.
